Childrens birthday parties

ResponsiPet will be available to attend childrens birthday parties from June 2010 so keep a look out here for further details. The parties are various to accomodate certain age groups.

Parties will include the following:

  • Pet handling time with one or two of our animals. Children will be shown what to look for in an unhealthy pet by watching the hostess perform a health check on an animal. Children will each be given a soft toy that resembles an animal to go through the health check motions too. Each toy animal has one thing wrong with it,  What will it be? If the children look at the parts of the animal they are told to, then they will soon discover what the problem is. All except one that is.  One pet is absolutely fine. Which one is it?
  • Animal games a fun learning experience. Games include a visit to the ‘ResponsiPet Vet‘ where the vet ( hostess) will talk to animal puppets about their problems. She will then ask the children for help with treating them by asking which items (out of some shown) is best for that particular problem. Musical pets is the same as musical chairs but the children have to make animal impressions whilst they dance. They freeze when the music stops and the last pet standing gets the musical pets award. Feed me is a game designed to get the children into teams and have a race against time to place all the pet foods with the correct animal. Watch out! There may be crafty tricks added!
  • Filled goody bags £3 extra per child. Advance orders are a must with these in order to get them delivered to us on time.
  • Folder: packed full of booklets and information on responsible pet ownership for small mammals. This also contains colouring in pages and animal puzzles. This is also given as a part of the Responsible pet ownership course, mentioned on our main pages.
  • Animal shaped cake (extra fee applies)
  • A special pet related gift to the birthday boy/girl

Parties will cater for up to 15 children aged between 5 and 11 years and will last for approx 1.5 hours.

Birthday party prices:

£65 for 1.5 hours

£3 per goody bag

£12 birthday cake

eg: If you had a party of 15 children with goody bags and cake it would be a total of £122.
