<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(1a) Generate ideas by drawing on their own and other peoples experiences. (For the craft session involving &#8216;environmental enrichment&#8217; where the child will be asked to design either a toy or activity for a pet of their choice in order for it to be environmentally enriched).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(1d) Plan by suggesting what to do next as their ideas develop (as mentioned above for the craft session).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><strong>Key stage 1 <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Art and Design</span></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(5b) Working on their own or with others on projects in 2d or 3d and on different scales (craft session).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><strong>Key stage 1 <span style="text-decoration: underline;">English</span></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(2a) Sustain concentration (the children will be given a story to listen to, demonstrating responsible and irresponsible pet ownership. They will then have to discuss these points as a group with the responsipet team member).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(2b) Remember specific points that interest them (as in the story above).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(2c) Ask questions to clarify their understanding. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(3d) Extend their ideas in light of discussion.</span></span></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #6c0d2a;"><span style="color: #000000;">(2a) </span></span>Identify the gist of an account or key points in a discussion and evaluate what they hear.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">(2b) Ask relevant questions to clarify, extend and follow up ideas (throughout the session the children will be asked questions to help with their understanding).</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">(3a) Make contributions relevant to the topic and take turns in discussion.</p>
